Our Most Recent Production - Radio Show

In September 2011, the Players staged a Radio Show in Christ Church to raise money for the church project.  The show ran for one evening and simulated a 1950's light entertainment broadcast, where the actors and singers dressed in evening apparel and we constructed microphones similar to those used by the BBC from 1939 onwards to 1960.

The program included songs, sketches and recitals and proved to be a big success. It raised £425 for the church fund.

The Players have been asked to stage another radio show on 8th September 2012 as part of Christ Church's proposed Harvest Arts & Crafts Festival. Put the date in your diary as proceeds will once again go to the church's project fund.
